Attachments
A range of swappable attachments make the Dingo an extremely versatile workhorse.
4 in 1 bucket
The Dingo has one of the largest 4 in 1 buckets amongst its peers, with a generous volume of 0.13M3 struck or 0.17M3 heaped. However, it is much more than just a bucket; it can also function as a blade, a grab and a leveller !
Because it can empty from the bottom, use it to load into tall bins. Materials can also be dribbled from the bottom of the bucket, thereby helping to spread material rather than dumping in a heap.
You can also pick up dirt, rocks and other objects using the grab action, but be careful not to inadvertently crush what you are handling with the powerful hydraulics.
Opening up the bucket, you can then use the front of the bucket while tilted forwards to push material from the top of the pile while using the back of the bucket as a blade to push material from the bottom of the pile to finish the job.
Opening the jaws and placing the open edges parallel with the ground you can use the bucket as a leveller, or you can use the optional leveller.
Use the Ripper attachment to loosen hard ground before excavating with the bucket.
For limited access sites we have a narrow configuration option. Using the narrow bucket and narrow wheels, we can squeeze our Dingo K9-3 through an 880mm opening !
Post Hole Digger and Augers
Perfect for digging post holes for fences or retaining walls, footings for decks or pergolas etc You could even use the large Auger to prepare tree plantings.
We have available 200, 300 and 450 mm Augers. Using the Dingo K9-3, the powerful hydraulics allows you to dig holes down to 1.1 metres for the 200 or 1.5 metres for the 300 and 450mm Augers. All of our Augers have Tungsten tips to maximize digging in most conditions.
Trencher
Use this attachment for excavating trenches for storm water and utilities or laying cables for power or telecommunications etc
Our trencher will dig a 150mm wide trench at up to 900mm depth. It will easily cut through roots, rocks and other obstacles and if it does jam, there is a relief valve that should prevent any damage occurring. Just back off and go again.
Leveller
The leveller is a very useful yet simple tool. Use this instead of the 4 in 1 bucket to easily spread soil and level a site. Alternatively, you can use it as a Carryall for moving heavy items such as blocks, pavers, sleepers etc
The leveller is 1255mm wide.
Rippers
The Ripper is considered by many people as a “must have” item for a Dingo. The attachment is designed to simply rip up tough ground in preparation for further excavation. Loosen up the soil with the Ripper and then excavate with the bucket.
